Intellectual Property:
The Company has exclusively licensed a patent portfolio from the Johns Hopkins Laboratory. The patent portfolio includes two issued patents and two pending patents with continuing research in progress by the Company’s founder, Glen Southard, Ph.D. and the Johns Hopkins Laboratory researchers, the results of which will also be licensed. The Company has also acquired ownership to a second patent portfolio of four pending applications with at least two additional patent applications in progress. These combined portfolios and works in progress represent current first generation products and processes based on the MIP bead technology, as well as additional anticipated second generation products and processes.
