The Bombay Company Inc. has agreed to sell its intellectual property, which includes the Bombay brand name, to Bombay Brands LLC, a joint venture of Hilco Consumer Capital and Gordon Brothers Group. In a transaction structure, The Bombay Company bankruptcy estate retains a 25% interest in Bombay Brands. The acquisition is subject to approval by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas, Fort Worth Division.
